At the Track and Field World Championships in Beijing, Usain Bolt won his third World 100-meter title to go along with his two Olympic titles in the event. Bolt’s time of 9.79 was one hundredth of a second faster than American Justin Gatlin, who lead almost the entire distance before stumbling slightly at the finish.

For Gatlin, who ran the fastest 100 meters in the world in both 2014 and 2015, Sunday’s race represented his first loss since September 6, 2013. Bolt hasn’t lost since June 6, 2013 when he was defeated in Rome by — who else — Justin Gatlin.
Watch for the two to tangle once more at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Bolt will be trying to become the first runner, male or female, to win three 100-meter titles in a row. Gatlin will be looking for a second gold after winning the 2004 Olympic title in the 100 meters.
