Kevin Durant feels it would be ‘arrogant’ to play NBA 2K as himself, so during last night’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he offered up that he plays the video game as LeBron James.
Fallon, clearly itching to take on the reigning NBA MVP in 2K15 (out on October 7), strongly suggested he could beat Durant as Durant. Which brings up an even more interesting philosophical question: who would come out on top if LeBron James as Kevin Durant played Kevin Durant as LeBron James?

Fallon lauded Durant for his MVP speech in which he paid heartfelt tribute to his mother. The Tonight Show host then urged viewers to look it up on YouTube with the warning that it will engender waterworks — as Adam Samberg can attest.
