Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey have mastered the art of hyping upcoming fights and maximizing the buzz around their every move. Even with their next octagon dates months away, both UFC fighters have managed to keep their names in the headlines on a regular basis.

McGregor, the interim featherweight champion, will attempt to unify the belts with champ Jose Aldo in the main event of UFC 194 on December 12 in Las Vegas. The notorious (and foul-mouthed) Irishman has ceaselessly taunted Aldo both before and after he pulled out of their last scheduled fight due to a rib injury.
Before his fight with Aldo, McGregor can be seen on the upcoming season of TUF, coaching opposite bantamweight Urijah Faber.

As for Rousey, her upcoming fight with Holly Holm was moved up from UFC 195 on January 2, as originally schedule, to UFC 193 on November 14. The shift was made in a gambit by the UFC to break its live attendance record at the event which will be held in Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
Rousey has been far more complimentary of Holm than her previous opponents, but found a way to grab headlines in a different way this past week. She accepted an invitation from Jarrod Haschet, 22, made in a Facebook video, to be his date to the Marine Corps Ball — provided he also find dates for her gal pals.
