This weekend, Ronda Rousey made her much-anticipated Saturday Night Live debut. During the opening monologue, Rousey gave Holly Holm belated props (albeit ever so briefly) for her UFC 193 win. As soon as the studio audience began clapping, the former UFC bantamweight champion jokingly cut them off.

One of the show’s better sketches was a send up of ABC’s long-running reality series The Bachelor, with Rousey competing on Bland Man for the affection of Dan, played by Taran Killam.
Although Rousey’s character performs admirably in her alone time with Dan, she ultimately loses his affections to Selena Gomez.

Rousey sat down with Cecily Strong to answer questions submitted by fans on Twitter. Most interestingly, we learn that the mixed martial artist’s favorite SNL cast members growing up were John Belushi, Chris Farley and Tina Fey. Diverse comical palette, indeed!
