Jake Arrieta’s first career no-hitter provided the perfect lead in for the Cubs first official pajama party. The team had committed to the festivities before Sunday’s game, but Arrieta’s gem from the mound ensured there would be no depressed batmen or moping mutant ninjas.

Even before the game, some Cubbies couldn’t wait to try on their new jammies. Newest teammate Fernando Rodney had to rush out and buy a classic pinstriped two-piecer for the event.
After the game, Arrieta donned his evening wear — a mustache-printed onesie — prior to fielding questions from the press.
