In remembrance of Padres legend Tony Gwynn, Keith Olbermann shared a touching story of the first meeting between the outfielder and Yankees announcer Bob Sheppard.

Gwynn was sometimes referred to as Mr. Padre and for good reason. In the two decades he played for San Diego he collected 3,141 hits and led the franchise to its only two World Series appearances. His stats at the plate were stellar by any standard, but he also was an asset on defense, winning five Gold Glove awards from 1986 to 1991.
