The biggest names in sports, and a notable sports fan living in the White House, tweeted their condolences upon learning of Scott’s death.

Scott debuted on ESPN in September 1993 sitting alongside co-host Craig Kilborn. As he notes in the following video, he looked good even in his padded-shoulder suit fronting a pastel-colored set.
