Most of the world will remember Prince Rogers Nelson as an insanely-gifted singer, musician, songwriter, producer, actor, and performer that gave us timeless hits like “Little Red Corvette,” “When Doves Cry,” “Kiss” and, of course, “Purple Rain.” But for the residents of Minneapolis, he was also a hometown hero.
The Minnesota Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves, Lynx, United FC and Wild all paid tribute to His Royal Badness after his untimely passing on Thursday.
