On Thursday, New York Rangers forward Dominic Moore held his third annual Smashfest table tennis tournament at the Steam Whistle Brewery in Toronto. Among the participating NHLers were Eric Lindros, Vincent Lecavalier, Steven Stamkos, Phil Kessel, Tyler Seguin, Ryan Shannon, Martin St. Louis, Chris Tanev and Kevin Weekes.
In the end, it came down to a battle between wingers — Stephane Veilleux of the Minnesota Wild claimed his second consecutive title by defeating the Canucks’ Alexandre Burrows.

After all the beer drinking, trash talking and ball smashing had concluded, the event had raised more than $140,000 for the The Steve Moore Foundation and the Katie Moore Foundation (named for Dominic’s late wife).
