Colombia’s James Rodriguez may have supplanted Robbie van Persie as the owner of the most Vine-worthy goal of the 2014 World Cup. In the 28th minute of the match against Uruguay, Rodriguez chest bumped the ball to his left foot for a perfectly-targeted rocket from almost 30-yards out.

In the celebration that followed, Rodriguez led his yellow-clad teammates in a quick-stepping salsa.

In the second half, Rodriguez took over the lead as the World Cup’s top goal scorer (five in four games) with a relaxed sweeper assisted by Juan Curdrado’s well-placed header.

We’ll have to wait and see if Lionel Messi, the tournament’s other prolific scorer, can answer with a couple of goals of his own in Argentina’s upcoming tilt against Switzerland. Care to tango?
