There is a tradition in baseball to ignore a player who has just hit the first home run of his career upon his return to the dugout. The Habs played the hockey equivalent of the prank on goalie Carey Price after their 2-0 series-clinching victory over the Ottawa Senators.

The cold-shoulder treatment ended abruptly with Price’s sheepish, self-satisfied, “Yeah.” Now, it’s on to a second round matchup for the Canadiens with either the Tampa Bay Lightning or Detroit Red Wings.
