Simply paying for a Gatorade may no longer be sufficient to secure possession of one of the neon-colored sports drinks. According to one of the company’s taglines, “You don’t sweat it, you don’t get it.”

In one set of thirty-second spots from Gatorade, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt plays vending machine defender when unsuspecting (and unsweaty) college students try to purchase a drink.
Strangely, the videos seem to encourage vandalism of the machines.

In a second set of ads, former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning put unsuspecting marks through their paces in futile attempts to get a Gatorade.
Maybe it’s just us, but the elder Manning seems to derive way too much pleasure from pranking regular folk in search of liquid refreshment.
